A look back at 2025: More than the numbers
As we close the door on 2025, we’ve been spending some time reflecting on the year behind us. Like many businesses, we can point to the numbers — and they do matter. This year, we listed and sold 22 homes, helped 29 buyers purchase a home, hosted 4 client appreciation events, made 51 community give-back donations, and sponsored 6 community-wide events.
But the truth is, those numbers only tell part of the story.
What they don’t fully capture are the relationships behind them — the people, the moments, and the trust that allows us to do this work in the first place. Real estate has a unique way of weaving us into someone’s life for a meaningful period of time. We step in during moments of change, growth, challenge, and excitement, and help guide people toward their next chapter.
This year, that included welcoming families relocating to the Capital Region as they searched not just for a house, but for a community. It meant walking alongside clients navigating the emotional process of selling a loved one’s home, often filled with decades of memories. It meant helping growing families upsize to meet new needs, while assisting others as they thoughtfully downsized and transitioned into a different season of life. Every situation was different, but each one was meaningful.
Our client appreciation events continue to be one of the more rewarding parts of our year. Seeing familiar faces, catching up on life beyond real estate, and reconnecting outside of transactions is both energizing and affirming. It’s a reminder that the relationships don’t end at the closing table.
Giving back to the community is another area that remains deeply important to us. Whether through donations or sponsorships, being involved locally allows us to participate in a real and tangible way in making this place we call home stronger and more connected. It’s a privilege to support organizations and events that make the Capital Region such a special place to live.
As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with gratitude. Gratitude for the trust our clients place in us, for the connections we’ve built, and for the opportunity to be part of so many stories along the way. We’re proud of the work we do — not just because of what we achieve, but because of how and why we do it.
Thank you for being part of our year, in ways both big and small. We’re looking forward to what’s next.
