Patrick McSharry

Patrick McSharry, Broker, grew up in Delmar and attended Bethlehem Central schools. His parents still live in his childhood home and he feels lucky to be able to visit them regularly. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1992, and studied clinical psychology at SUNY Albany, before turning to sales. He worked as a Real Estate Salesperson and an Associate Broker at several local firms, but found that no company could give his clients the level of individualized attention he felt they deserved so he decided to create a company that could.

While many people say they could never work with their significant other, Patrick appreciates the complementary skills that his wife, Julie, brings to their real estate team. It's hard for him to believe he is the father two young adults, he’s proud of both Fiona and Grady and is excited to see what the future has in store for them. When not helping clients achieve their real estate goals, Patrick enjoys running, hiking and he has yet to come across a competitive card or word game he doesn’t love playing.

During her tenure as a social worker, she worked with a wide range of clients – from children at risk of being placed in foster care to individuals incarcerated at the Albany County Jail to adults struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. After leaving social work, and spending several years home raising her young children (and helping Patrick manage his real estate business), Julie returned to the work force first as the Director of Youth Employment Services for the Town of Bethlehem and later as a consultant at Reach Advisors, a strategy and research firm based in Glenmont, NY.

Rob Sasso

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson -Rob earned his associates degree in liberal arts in 1992 at Fulton-Montgomery Community College and has since put his knowledge to use in a variety of fields. Beginning his work life as a direct care service provider at a local ARC, he discovered that serving people’s needs would be a lifelong path. Rob moved into the broadcast television industry in 1997, working as a news videographer, producer, director, and commercial videographer, serving local and national business advertising needs. He formed his own production company specializing in promotional, industrial, wedding and event videos. In 2005, Rob left the TV industry with a colleague to start SiCap Industries, a local health care products manufacturer. As Operations and Production Manager, Rob helped grow the company’s flagship product, Sinus Buster Nasal Spray, to more than $2M in sales in just three years on the market. This attracted the attention of Dynova Laboratories, who purchased the fledgling company in 2008. After negotiating the sale of SiCap, Rob worked for Dynova Laboratories as the head of customer service and inventory control until they sold the Sinus Buster brand in 2012. Rob currently owns and operates Man with a Van 2 Courier Service, specializing in the fulfillment of custom and often unique delivery and transportation requests. When Patrick and Julie approached Rob about joining McSharry and Associates, it was a clear opportunity to take his interest in customer service to its highest and perhaps most important level. The decision was easy and Rob joined McSharry and Associates in 2016 as a licensed salesperson.

Rob enjoys a variety of interests and hobbies outside of his work life. He constructed a Motocross track in Sharon Springs, NY where he enjoys riding dirt bikes and ATVs with his family and friends. He loves to drive his classic 1974 AMC Gremlin with the windows down and his son, Nico, in the passenger seat. He has participated in the professional arm wrestling circuit for nearly twenty years, placing third at the 2002 World Championships. Most of all, Rob loves to apply his passion for playing drums at his church service every Sunday morning.
